    Clarence Walter Scheiderman was born to Margaret Jane De Groot (1902-1978) and Clarence Samuel Scheiderman (1895-1979) on February 2, 1920 in Summit, New Jersey. He had 10 siblings: William J Herbert (1917-1982), Robert J (1918-1980), Agnes (1920-1920), Margaret Lidia (1923-2002), Catherine Elizabeth (1925-2011), John Edward (1926-1999), George Allen (1928-1943), Donald J (1932-1998), Edna Mae (1935-2009), and Joesph Francis Scheiderman (1936-2003). They grew up in New Providence, Union, New Jersey. He married Viola Pearl Thom (1924-2003) in October of 1942 at the Oaks Mem. Methodist Church in Summit, New Jersey. Together they had one child. The two divorced on July 23, 1947. Viola was awarded divorce due to charge of infidelity. A few months later, he went on to marry Doris Arlene Cauthers (1924-2003) on October 31, 1947 in Summit, New Jersey. They went on to have multiple children together including Thomas Michael (1947-1989) and Doris Arlene (1950-2013). Just a few days after being discharged, he registered for the World War II Draft on November 28, 1945 in East Orange, Essex, New Jersey, USA. his next of kin was listed as his wife Viola Scheiderman. His registration card listed him as 5'7", 140 lbs, with ruddy complexion, brown hair, and blue eyes. His occupation was listed as "returned veteran" as he had just been discharged 4 days prior to filling out this registration card.

    Published in The Madison Eagle (Madison, New Jersey) on Thursday January 29, 1981 GREEN VILLAGE- Funeral services for Clarence W. Scheiderman, 60, of Easton, Pa, formerly of Green Village, were held Saturday. Jan. 24, at the United Methodist Church of Green Village. He died Jan. 20 at Easton General Hospital after a short illness. Born in Summit, Mr. Scheiderman had lived here most of his life. He had also lived in Basking Ridge and in Easton for the past two months. He was a stockroom keeper for Bell Labs, Murray Hill, for 33 years. He was a member and former trustee of the Green Village Methodist Church. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Green Village fire department and a special police officer for the Chatham Township police department. He was also a member of the CWA of America at Bell Labs and the Peapack Gladstone BPOE. He is survived by his wife Doris Carothers Scheiderman three sons, Arthur of Phillipsburg. Thomas of Easton, and Steven of Liberty Corners three daughters, Doris Dittmar of Easton, Donna Hopper of Locktown and Teresa at home four brothers and three sisters: and six grandchildren Funeral arrangements were made through the Burroughs and Kohr Funeral Home, Madison.
