He had siblings Lily Louisa Isabel Thulborn, Jessie Maude Thulborn, Margaret Frances Irene Thulborn, Daisy Victoria Thulborn, Percival "Percy" Keith Thulborn, and Leslie David McGregor Thulborn. Colin Thulborn died at age 89 years old on June 16, 2008 in Mortlake.

Killing more people than the 1910 bombing of the LA Times (the deadliest terrorist act up until then), no one took responsibility and the perpetrators were never found. Italian anarchists were suspected of the bombing.
