Daniel William Walser was born on April 10, 1867 at Walker Basin in California United States to Daniel Waggoner Walser and Mary Florida (Lightner) Walser, and had siblings Charles Abia Walser, Sidney Johnston Walser, John Caswell “Cas” Walser, Franklin Barrows Walser, and Dayse Elizabeth (Walser) Wallace. Daniel Walser married Josephine “Josie” (Dunlap) Walser in 1886, and they were married until Daniel's death on March 9, 1887.

Introduction

Son of Daniel Waggoner Walser and Mary Florida Lightner, was born on the Walser Ranch, he attended School in Visalia when he became ill there and died. "All who have known the Walser Family will not soon forget the bright handsome face of the oldest son whose many noble qualities have endeared him to all with whom he was associated" (from newspaper obituary).
