Car crash in Oakland kills Vallejo woman

Oakland - A Vallejo woman died early Saturday when the car she was riding in collided with a truck near 73rd and Arthur streets. The Alameda County Coroner's office identified the fatality in the collision as Danielle Dismuke, 35. **

Two other occupants of the car were injured and taken to Highland Hospital. The accident occurred at 3:46 a.m., and the cause under investigation.

This article appeared in The Oakland Tribune on Sunday March 5th 2006.

** On March 8th in the Oakland Tribune the newspaper issued a correction: "An article in Sunday's newspaper about a woman killed in a traffic accident gave her wrong age and residence. Danielle Monique Dismuke, 24, lived in East Oakland, her mother said.
