Darlene Dail (Barich) Wright was born on January 30, 1935 in Wenatchee, Washington United States to David Barich and Shirley Jewell Posthumus. She married Norman Leroy Holmes in 1955 and they later divorced in 1980. She had children Darla Kaye Holmes, Norman Maurice Holmes, Teena Marie Conrad, Linda Ann Holmes, and Norma Lee Holmes. Darlene Wright died at age 78 years old on April 13, 2013 in New Braunfels, Texas.
