I never met my grandfather, David A.R. Cressie, although he didn't die until 1966. He was divorced from my grandmother and the family never spoke about him. Would like to contact anyone who knows more about David. Would very much like to know who his father was. No mention of a father on his birth certificate.

David Cressie was born to a 13 year old in 1885 at the Carlton Refuge.
There is no father listed on his birth certificate. David married Jessie Strang in 1910 and they had four children. His eldest son was my father. David divorced
Jessie and married Annie Isobel Cunningham a divorcee from Scotland. There were no issue from the second marriage. David's mother, Rosamond, was
made a state ward when very young and it was while she was with her guardians that she fell pregnant.
