Grisham and Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane Harville, and had siblings Mary Elizabeth Grisham, James Sydney Grisham, Leonard Reams Grisham, Martha Grisham, Elizabeth Jane Grisham, Edward Blant Grisham, and Tennie Alice Grisham. He married Lydia Jane Shoemake, and died at age 60 years old on December 20, 1928. David Grisham was buried at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery Sullivan's Bend Rd..
