David Hutcherson was born in 1719 in Ireland to James A Hutcherson III and Jane Humphreys, and had siblings Mathew Hutcherson, Joseph Hutcherson, Gilbert Hutcherson, Michael Hutcherson, Robert Hutcherson, Agnes (Hutcherson) Rowan, Samuel Hutcherson, and James Mercer Hutcherson. David Hutcherson died at age 88 years old in 1807 in Chester, Pennsylvania United States.

In 1801, at the age of 82 years old, David was alive when on November 10th, the state of Kentucky outlawed dueling. The oath of office for Kentucky has since said: ""I, being a citizen of this State, have not fought a duel with deadly weapons within this State nor out of it, nor have I sent or accepted a challenge to fight a duel with deadly weapons, nor have I acted as second in carrying a challenge, nor aided or assisted any person thus offending, so help me God."
Did you know?
In 1804, when he was 85 years old, on July 11th, Alexander Hamilton, former Secretary of the Treasury, and Aaron Burr, Vice President of the United States, fought a duel. Alexander Hamilton was shot and died the next day. Burr was indicted for murder and was acquitted but his political career was ruined.
