Dawn Helen (Mitting) McKinnon was born on October 28, 1919 in Mildura, Mildura Rural City County, VIC Australia to Cecil Charles Ernest Mitting and Hazel Alix (Comb) Mitting, and had siblings Hazel Cecelia Mitting, Robert William Mitting, and Alexander Mitting. She married Charles Thomas Fletcher on March 3, 1940 in Merbein, Mildura Rural City County, Victoria, and they were married until Charles' death on December 12, 1942. She also married John Neil Clarence McKinnon, and they were married until death separated them. Dawn McKinnon died at age 87 years old on August 2, 2007, and was buried at Merbein Cemetery in Merbein, VIC.
