Della Lee Roach 1897 - 1972

Della (Lee) Roach of Bedford, Lawrence County, IN was born on October 3, 1897 at Bedford Indiana in Bedford to Marshall Lee and Cynthia (Fields) Lee. She had siblings Grover C Lee, Vina A (Lee) Eagans, Clara Lee, Alice Lee, and Joe Lee. She married Earl Franklin Roach on January 25, 1923, and they were married until Earl's death in 1964. She had children Harry Owen Roach, James E Roach, and Margie Roach. Della Roach died at age 75 years old in November 1972, and was buried in November 1972.

Della was my Great Grandma.She died November 1972. I was 2 and a half years old.I remember her. She was sick in bed. She was worried about getting her dishes done. I remember her son Harry.(My Grandpa) Telling her- Mom get back in bed. She called him Harry boy.A nickname she gave him as a little boy.She was kind and soft spoken. Strange I remember her at 2 and a half. Their daughter Margie passed away at 4 or 5 years old.
