  • Introduction

    Diane was born to John and Irene with sisters Joanne and Audrey. She lost her father unexpectedly while she was still a teenager. This was extremely hard on her as she was not able to say goodbye to him. She would spend many years looking for a man with his qualities. Unfortunately she was quickly realizing this would prove to be almost impossible. each time she decided to marry it was unfortunately for the wrong reasons and the disappointments would make her restless and a new search would begin. She broke a few hearts during this restless time of hers. Until her 7th husband Richard Collins. Where she seemed to find some peace. Her Friend of many many years Dot said she seemed content with Richard. I felt her to be happy with him as well. and as long as she stayed away from her favorite Manhattan drink. they seemed to work well with each other. She also had many secretes that affected her behavior that never came out until after she was gone. that actually helped shed some light On a few things that she kept to herself and from us her children myself being her 2nd Audrey with Deborah being her 1st and John being her 3rd. what ever reasons she had to keep most of the information from us. She was my mom and I was proud to have been her daughter i miss her every day. her silly I love lucy laugh and goofy way she would act. when she was in her playful moods. Binge watching Elvis Presley Movies. As well as going out for drinks for the first time with her and learning first hand when shes drinking Manhattans its safer to thumb home even if the ride that stops for you and your favorite Aunt wasn't even going your way! They were kind though and took us right to the door! When i can think of other interesting things about my mom ill up date. So stay tuned.

Diane was my mother a very strong determined woman. She loved her father John more then life itself and spent her whole life looking for someone whom had his wonderful qualities. He was taken from her to early. She didn't get to say her good byes to him which left a void with in her. As losing her has done the same to me.
