He also married Laura Jeanne Gummoe in January 1965 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio and they later divorced in 1974. They had children Chris Jonn Camlin, Kelly Lynn Camlin, and Carla Danielle Camlin.

He went to college in his 30's and 40's primarily in the Kansas City area at Schools like Baker University and Mid American Nazarene university. He eventually obtained a masters in Substance abuse counseling and taught courses at St Mary's in Leavenworth and at Kansas City Kansas Community College.

    No though his relatives were. He eventually came to believe in a Higher Power as he Matured.

    Donn served in the Air Force in the late 1950's in Truro Massachusetts where he worked as a Radar Operator at an Early Warning station during the Cold War.

    Early in life He worked in Multiple Jobs from Steelworker to Bartender. But after 1974 he became a Substance abuse counselor who eventually ran a Salvation Army Treatment center in Kansas City Kansas.

Taking 5 years to build, the 4,200-foot-long suspension bridge was an engineering marvel of its time - 11 men died during construction.
