Dora Flora Augusta (Meitzner) Kraase was born on December 3, 1908 at Utica in Utica, Michigan United States to Carl Charles Meitzner and Alwine Wilhelmina (Stenzel) Meitzner, and has siblings Ella Augusta Willhelmina (Meitzner) Alband, Alvin Wilhelm Meitzner, Alfred Julius Frederick Meitzner, Ilda Elise Ernestine (Meitzner) Saal, Adolph Otto Robert Meitzner, Thelma Bertha Martina (Meitzner) Clauw, Arnold Otto Erwin Meitzner, and Alton Walter Meitzner. Dora Meitzner married Charles William Kraase on January 22, 1927 in Royal Oak, Oakland County, and they were married until Charles' death on August 28, 1960.
