Dorothy May (Edwards) Fortington of Australia was born on August 9, 1911 in Carlton, City of Melbourne County, VIC. She married Samuel Joseph Fortington in 1927 in Mansfield, Mansfield Shire County, Victoria, and they were married until Samuel's death on November 4, 1936. She would also marry James Joseph Fortington in 1941, and they were married until James' death on August 3, 1966. Dorothy Fortington died at age 85 years old on October 23, 1996 in Coburg, City of Merri-bek County, VIC.
