    The Great Southern Advocate, Korumburra. 11th November 1897. McLAREN.- On the 26th October, 1897, at Wood's Point, Duncan McLaren, formerly of Ballarat, and father of Mr. A. McLaren, of Jeetho. Aged 90years, a colonist of 45 years.

His mower was 19 inches wide with a frame made of wrought iron and looked much like a modern push mower.
