Edward Burton had siblings Thomas Burton, Alfred Charles Burton, Francis Roger Bradley Burton, Albert William Baxter Burton, Alberta Lilian (Burton) Pommeroy, Beatrice Mary Burton, Ellen Grace Burton, Bessie Sarah Burton, Edith May Burton, Richard Robert Burton, and Sydney Herbert Burton. He married Florence Maude (Rooke) Burton. He would also marry Edith Elizabeth (Eagleson) Burton, and they had children George Edward Burton and William Herbert Burton. Edward Burton died at age 78 years old in 1959 in Parkdale, City of Kingston County, and was buried at Fawkner Memorial Park Sydney Rd, in Fawkner, Moreland City County.
