Effie May (Welsh) Funge of Northcote Australia was born in 1883 in Goldsborough, VIC to James Gardner Welsh and Annie Dunnett Welsh. She had siblings George Thomas Welsh, James Welsh, Peter Welsh, Matthew Welsh, John Dunnett Welsh, Jessie Welsh Ridd, Christina Margaret (Welsh) Thomas, and Robert William Welsh. She married John Funge in 1908, and had children Elsie May Funge, Alice Maude Funge, Beryl Jessie Funge, and Alan Thomas Funge. Effie Funge died at age 82 years old on December 11, 1966 in Melbourne.
