Rev Charles Arlin will officiate. Burial, Wiltwyck Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday 7pm to 9pm. Eleanor M. Cogswell of Lawrenceville Street, died at her home Saturday September 26, 2009. Born June 1 1927 in Kingston, she is a daughter of the late James and Evelyn Countryman Perry. A past president of Ulster County chapter of New York American Legion Auxillary. A member of The ladies Auxillary Post 1748 American Legion Town of Ulster and Post 72 of Saugerties New York. Surviving are her husband Herbert Cogswell. One daughter, Dawn Staccio of Saugerties. Four sons, Vernon Smith Jr., of Sawkill, Clarence Smith of Connelly, Garry Smith of Leeds, and Jay Smith of Saugerties. Two sisters, Doris Stoutenburg of Town of Ulster, Angela Reynolds of Kingston. Stepson, Howard Cogswell, of Pa., and Stepdaughter Rose Hoornbeek of Accord. Special cousin, Dorothy Jones of Pine Plains, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews also survive. Two brothers, Thomas Doyle, and James Perry died previously.

Eleanor M. Cogswell of Lawrenceville Street, died at her home Saturday September 26, 2009. Born June 1 1927 in Kingston, she is a daughter of the late James and Evelyn Countryman Perry. A past president of Ulster County chapter of New York American Legion Auxillary. A member of The ladies Auxillary Post 1748 American Legion Town of Ulster and Post 72 of Saugerties New York.
