Elenor Breitkreutz was born on April 11, 1913 at Valetine Nebraska to Louis Breitkreutz and Anna Heller, and had siblings Laura Breitkreutz, Agatha Breitkreutz, and Leroy Breitkreutz. She married Harry Green on April 10, 1934 in Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska United States and they later separated. She would also marry George Alt in November 1945 in Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County United States, and they were married until death separated them in Scottsbluff United States. She was the parent of Dorothy Ann Breitkreutz Alt. Elenor Breitkreutz died at age 79 years old on October 22, 1992 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

In 1913, in the year that Elenor Breitkreutz was born, Henry Ford installed the first moving assembly line for the mass production of an entire automobile. It had previously taken 12 hours to assemble a whole vehicle - now it took only two hours and 30 minutes! Inspired by the production lines at flour mills, breweries, canneries and industrial bakeries, along with the disassembly of animal carcasses in Chicago’s meat-packing plants, Ford created moving belts for parts and the assembly line was born.

In 1928, she was only 15 years old when Mickie Mouse was born! He first appeared in Disney's Steamboat Willie, along with Minnie. Although they were in two previous shorts, this was the first to be distributed. Steamboat Willie took advantage of the new technology and was a "talkie" - music was coordinated with the animation. It became the most popular cartoon of its day.
