ELISABETH REINGARDT OBITUARY EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Elisabeth O. (Ott) Reingardt, 76, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Deaconess Hospice Care Center, Evansville. Born Aug. 7, 1935, in West Germany, to Johann and Amalia (Hornig) Ott, Elisabeth moved to the United States in 1957 and became a proud citizen of this country in the late 1980s. She enjoyed completing 3D puzzles and crocheting. Elisabeth was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Elisabeth is survived by her daughters, Connie Allbritton of Evansville, Patricia (Jack) Carty of Sycamore, Ill., and Heidi (Don) Haire of Evansville; sons, Roy Reingardt III of Aurora, Danny (Paula) Reingardt of Newark and Ronnie (Candi) Reingardt of Evansville; brothers, Roland and Christian Ott; 32 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Elisabeth was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Penny Reingardt; sister, Amalia Louise Ott; brother, Johann Ott; and the father of her children, Roy Reingardt Jr. A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 12, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville.
