Elizabeth Ann (Wilcox) Shields of Coburg, City of Merri-bek County, VIC Australia was born in 1857 in Geelong to Elizabeth Ryde Wilcox and Charles Knowles Wilcox. She had siblings Edward John Wilcox, William Henry Wilcox, Charles Robert Wilcox, and Edward Davies Wilcox. She married Alexander Shields in 1890, and had children Robert Stewart Shields, Agnes Louisa Shields, and Olive May Shields. Elizabeth Shields died at age 64 years old on April 9, 1922 in Coburg.
