She married Henry Arthur Preston on April 4, 1883 at St. Matthew's Church, in Prahran, Stonnington City County, Victoria Australia, and they were married until Elizabeth's death on May 13, 1887. Elizabeth Preston was buried at St. Kilda Cemetery, in Saint Kilda East, Port Phillip City County.
