betty as she was known to her friends and relatives was born in auburn but was a resident of owasco,auburn and weedsport. she was employed for 13 years with dunn and mccarthy of auburn. she also was a gold star mother with the john cool american legion post no.257. surviving are her four sons gordan,donald,richard and elwood dixon. two daughters; mildred dixon and donna thurston. three brothers;earl,frederick, and robert leubner. 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her husband;ralph dixon in 1988 and a son;spec 4 david allen dixon in 1967.also her father;emil h leubner in 1968 and a brother in 1997;emil earl leubner also her mother in 1975 emily k hudson leubner and another son; richard "dick" dixon in 2004. she will be greatly missed from all who knew her on centerport road in weedsport and the local areas.
