  • Introduction

Emma Frances Green, went by the name Frances. What I had learned is that her first husband was a Leimgruber, he was also from Bellvue Ohio. His first wife was named Emma. They lived in Ohio and Iowa. Emma's little brother, Fredrick Green competed in the Cherokee Strip Run in Oklahoma, where the two settled; after her husband passed away Emma went to live in Council Bluffs Iowa with her brother who had been in a terrible accident, when a horse had kicked him in the head and had to have a steel plate put in his skull. The family moved to Lusk Wyoiming to homestead - This included Fredrick's family, his sister Emma and his Brother-in-law's family Benjamin Middleton. Emma moved to Spalding Nebraska to work as a nanny for Charles Hiatt. Later the two married and had for children. 1. Rosella Hiatt 2. Charles Hiatt 3. Kenneth Hiatt 4.
