Emma (Ridoutt) Jellard of VIC Australia was born in 1866 in Prahran, City of Stonnington County to Emma (McMillin) Ridoutt and Richard William Ridoutt. She had siblings Ethel May Ridoutt, Lillian Elizabet Ridoutt, Charlotte Ridoutt, Edith Martha Ridoutt, William Alfred Ridoutt, and Alexander Frederick Ridoutt. Emma Jellard died at age 54 years old on October 29, 1921.

The Chicago fire is the most well known of them because it left almost 100,000 people homeless. But the Peshtigo Fire killed around 2,500 people. The casualty count made it the deadliest fire in US history.
