Hugh Stevens with his 3rd wife, Emma (Jones) Stevens, whom he married August 21, 1882. She was born April 7, 1864 in Washington County, Indiana. At the age of 10, she moved to Lawrence County, where she resided until her death July 8, 1933.
He was born in Lawrence County, Indiana on May 21, 1854 to Jeremiah and Susan Stevens. He spent most of his life as a farmer.
They are both buried in the Mitchell Cemetery, in Mitchell, Indiana.
