Devoted father of Debra Bennett (Thomas), Richard (Allison). Cherished Poppy of Christopher, Eddie, Joseph and Lauren. Loving great-grandfather of Joviana, and Thomas John. Ernest is also survived by his loving sisters, Marion, Frances, Virginia, Caroline and Josephine. Family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home located at 290 Post Ave., Westbury, NY (516)334-2424. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday 11:00AM at St. Brigid's RC Church, Westbury. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
