She had siblings Violet Elaine Strover, Leila Maude Strover, Nancy Charis Isobel Strover, and Clive Haldenby Strover. She married Alfred Craig in 1922, and had a child Shirley Craig. Esme Craig died at age 67 years old on April 2, 1963 in Greensborough.
