    Frances Margaret Seadler was born in Oklahoma Territory on Feb. 28, 1904. She came to California at an early age, settling in the San Joaquin Valley. In 1921 she married her husband, Albert. The couple had three sons; Walter, Albert Bud and John. The family moved to Watsonville in 1948 Frances' hobbies included knitting, crocheting and shuffleboard. Frances and Albert traveled the country, visiting every U.S. state in their travel trailer. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1971. After Albert's death in 1978, Frances traveled abroad, exploring Europe and countries like Australia, China and the Fiji Islands. In later years, Frances enjoyed listening to books on tape and visiting with her extended family. She had a fantastic memory. She could recite the names of US Presidents and First Ladies in order, backwards and forwards. She wrote and published a biography in 1994, titles "Around the World in 90 years." She was proud to be matriarch of five generations of the Seadler family. She was a member of the First Family of Oklahoma. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and sons Walt and John. She is survived by her son Albert Bud and wife Helen Seadler of Watsonville, 8 grandchildren, Richard and wife Carol Seadler of Watsonville; Kathy and husband John Sarracino of Arizona; Mitch and wife Nan Seadler of Castroville; Judie and husband Chris Nielsen of Watsonville; Scott and wife Marsha Seadler of Monterey; Ann and husband Kevin Kliers of Texas; Jamie Seadler and wife Keri of Texas and Drew Seadler of Maryland, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend Graveside Services Thursday, Dec. 6 at 1:00 P.M. at the Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Road in Watsonville. Remembrances may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1500 41st Avenue, Capitola, CA 95010.
