Obituary

Frances Womack White, 79, of East Ridge, TN passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. White was born in Hamilton County to William and Lela Womack. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, a graduate of Central High School, and previously worked at Railway Express and M&J Produce. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Fred Womack and William Roy Womack Jr. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Arthur C. White Sr.; sons, Arthur C. White Jr., Edward T. and Laura White, and Brian D. White; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Frances' caregivers including Mark, Stacy and Ms. Dill. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009, at the funeral home followed by the funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
