Introduction

Francis Allen was born in 1945 from Yvonne and Francis Allen Sr. Route 12, Dayville, CT 06241 next door to his Grandmother and Grandfather on his dad's side. He was the fist of two children Raymond Allen who was born the same year December 12. (they were called Irish twins.

Rocky Allen was Baptized, Made his First Communion, and was married and where his last mass was said at St Joseph's Church, Dayville, CT.
Military Service

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and belonged to the Coast Guard. From 1993 to 1968.
Professional Career

Rocky worked for Rogers Corporation of Rogers CT from 1963 until he died. In the beginning in the mixing room. Then for the last 10 years as a Maintenance Man in Rogers and then switched plants to Woodstock Rogers Plant in Woodstock, CT. Once he became a Maintenance man he loved his job. The last full year he worked which was 1992 he worked more overtime hours than regular hours.
Personal Life & Family

Was a member of our local chapter of VFW in East Killingly. And for a few years when first years belonged to the Dayville Volunteer Fire ZDept.
