He married Janet Elaine Nistico in 1971 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, and they were married until Janet's death on August 28, 2014 in Wilton. Francis Nistico has children Dana Jacqueline Martin, Amy Jennifer Nistico, and Adam Francis Nistico.
