Son of John Jacob Hahn and Marie Magdaline Schmid. Frank was baptized and confirmed on March 31, 1912, at Zion Lutheran Church.
He was married on June 25, 1924 at Belleville, Kansas, to
Mina Auguste Elizabeth Zabel (1898-1983).
They had 2 children:
1.Iona Marie, m: Ralph Norvell
2.Donald Lloyd, he was 9 years old
Frank's wife suffered a stroke in Dec. of 1981, then she lived at the Good Samaritan Home in Auburn until she passed away on Nov. 25, 1983.
Frank continued to live in their home until 1986 when his health failed. He was admitted to the Good Samaritan Center in Auburn on Jan. 29, 1987 where he died on Feb. 25, 1993, at the age of 96 years, three months and 29 days.
Besides his daughter also surviving him, was a grandson, Dennis Norvell, 2 great granddaughters, Melina Clarke and Tera Norvell. 2 sisters-in-law, Leona Hahn and Edna Zabel.
Funeral services were held Feb. 27 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, burial followed in the church cemetery.
