Ann Arbor News 12 August 1972 Klein, Fred J. (Formerly of 1442 Knight Rd.) Age, 86, passed away August 11, 1972, at the Clague Nursing Home. He was born September 29, 1885 in Detroit, the son of Herman and Marie Schmid Klein. On July 17, 1948, he married Mrs. Victoria DeBorde. She preceded him in death on June 24, 1971. Mr. Klein was a retired employee of the Associated Spring Corp. Survivors include two brothers, William of Ann Arbor, Herman of Lewiston, Michg.; six sisters, Mrs. Karl Tessmer, Mrs. Carl Ringkvist, Mrs. Harry Dildine and Mrs. Martin Schlenker, all of Ann Arbor; Mrs. Otto Zick of Albion, Mich., Mrs. Louis Berner of Dexter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, from the Muehlig Chapel with Rev. David Bracklein officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
