    Ann Arbor News 03 June 1974 Tessmer, Mrs. Carl (Matilda) 1011 Bath St. -- Age 86, passed away this morning at Cedar Knoll Convalescent Home following a lingering illness. She was born Oct 2, 1887 in Waltz, Mich., the daughter of Herman and Mary Schmid Klein. Mrs. Tessmer had been a resident of Washtenaw County since 1903. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. William (Hazel) Kett of Ann Arbor; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Carl Ringkvist, Mrs. Harry Dildine, Mrs. Martin Schlenker and Mrs. Louise Berner all of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Otto Zic of Albion; one brother, Herman Klein of Lewiston, Mich.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Fred Klein. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Muehlig Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the General Memorial Fund of Zion Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the chapel beginning Tuesday,
