Frederick Francis Fritzges Sr. was born on October 9, 1886 in Baltimore, Maryland United States to Frederick A Fritzges and Margaret Catherine Fritzges, and had siblings Charles M Fritzges, John Adam Fritzges, George M Fritzges, and Margaret G (Fritzges) Leimbaugh (spell?). He married Katherine (Walsh) Fritzges on October 11, 1911 in Baltimore, and had children Frederick Francis Fritzges Jr. and Sarah Cecilia (Fritzges) Collins. Frederick Fritzges died at age 74 years old on March 27, 1961.

On 10/11/1911, Frederick F Fritzges married Katherine nee Walsh (1889-1970). Frederick worked at the B&O railroad for 48 years (1902-1950), starting as a messenger and finishing as chief pass clerk (1943). Frederick and Katherine had two kids Sarah C Collins and Frederick F Fritzges Jr. He is buried at the New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore Md Plot HH, Lot 988, Grave 2 with his wife.
