He had siblings John William Jansen, Frederick Henry Jansen, Ellena Sophia Jansen, Annie Maria (Jansen) Chappell, Ferdinand Robert Jansen, Francis Patrick Jansen, Charles Jansen, Percy Chappell Jansen, Albert Ernest Jansen, Catherine Elizabeth (Jansen) Child, and Arthur James Jansen. He married Rose Smith Jansen, and had children Stella May Jansen, Doris Pearl Jansen, Glenda Ellen Jansen, and Beryl Florence Jansen. George Jansen died at age 81 years old on October 6, 1958 in Maryborough.
