Mathilde married him in 1972 and divorced in 1982. He continued being a father and grandfather until the time of his death. That included the kids he helped to raise Eduard Edwards spouse Deborah Carl Edwards spouse Sylvia Carol Beil He later married Carmen Lucardie they were married at the time of his passing but were separated.

While married to Carmen they relocated to Irving Texas. He helped raising Carmen’s children as well.

Father in law

Lucardie I miss you so much. I miss our debates, our visits. I know you were there to welcome your favorite granddaughter. You know she was taking far to young. I will always be grateful to the love you had for Janelle and Erica. You know how very much they loved you as well. Every night coming over to have dinner with us, to play with the kids, to read bedtime stories. You were the only grandparent from your son’s family that was always their for the girls. Janelle now knows why Mathilde was never there. We still have Chinese every year on your birthday to honor you we always will. I miss you so much I miss your stir fry. Thank you for being the best father & father in law and best grandfather. Hug Janelle for us dance sing. Until we meet again you are in Eddie, Erica and my thoughts. We all miss you and love you.

Debra,

If you want to add a daughter-in-law, you can add her as the spouse of a son. Grandchildren can be added as the children of children of . . . For instance, if Joe and Mary Smith had a son Todd, their daughter-in-law would be Todd's wife and their grandchildren would be Todd's children.
