George L. Heminger was born in 1871 in Dubuque County, Iowa United States to Valentine Heminger and Mary Lapham, and had siblings Emma Heminger, Solon v. Heminger, Mary Josephine Heminger, Charles D. Heminger, Amos Lincoln Heminger, and Fredrick G. Heminger. He married Mary Ellen Wright, and had a child Murray Valentine Heminger. George Heminger died at age 36 years old in 1907 in HI.
