    George's parents were Francis Selby (born 1834) and Eliza Hardy (1826-1872). He had siblings Francis, Tabitha, Henry, and Robert, and half-siblings Francis, Elizabeth, (unnamed baby), Louisa, Thomas, Elizabeth, Lavinia, Annie, Albert, and Amelia. (Two Lavinia's are list and 2 Alberts are listed - different birth dates. Are they repeats or did some die young?) He married Elizabeth Ann "Annie" Forrest (1867-1938) on April 11 1898 in Beechworth, Victoria Australia and they had George, Nellie, and Rosetta. He then married Sarah Jane Wright (1861-1953) on Jan 4 1940 in Myrtleford Victoria Australia
