1915 New York state census: Buffalo Ward, 23 In the household: Waller J Smith, age 37 Gertrude M Smith, age 32 Clayton C Smith, age 2 Jessie K. Smith, age 3 Waller (sic) is listed as a "Secretary & Treasurer" Gertrude does "House Keeping" In the 1920 federal census, Gertrude is listed as living with "Walter" (sic), husband, age 41. She is age 37, Jessie is 8, Clayton is 7. Also in the household is Eugene Ellis, age 40, a boarder. Everyone but the boarder was born in New York.
