Glady Alice (Mullins) Young of Keithville, Louisiana United States was born on March 10, 1909 in WV to George Harvey Mullins and Cornelia Ethel (Vandergriff) Mullins. She had siblings Erna Estella (Mullins) Williams, Bernard Nolan Mullins, Harmon Eugene Mullins, Sr., William Elsworth Mullins, Herbert Stanley Mullins, Ruby Maude (Mullins) Tucker, Guy Travis Mullins, Madge Marie (Mullins) Pritchard, and Clara Jean (Mullins) Smith. She married Rennie Young on January 8, 1933, and had children Eugene Emmitt Young, jack leonard young, Harold Woodson Young, Denver Alderson Young, Janice Louise (Young) Smith, Kenneth Warren Young, luther martin young, and Glenn Lawrence Young. Glady Young died at age 98 years old on August 15, 2007.

    Glady Alice Mullins Young was a wonderful woman a great mother to nine children of her own as well as having a hand in raising countless other children, grandchildren. She had big heart, and would lend a hand to anyone in need. She was born in Swandale, West Virginia and moved to Shreveport, Louisiana with her husband Rennie Young and family. She remained in Louisiana until her death at the age of 98 years old.
