    Green Bay Press-Gazette August 1, 2002 Spoehr, Gladys M. Gladys M. Spoehr, 79, Navarino, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, July 30, 2002, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. The daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Christianson) Thompson, was born April 29, 1923, in the Town of Maine. She married Kieth Spoehr Oct. 26, 1940, in the Town of Lessor. He preceded her in death April 9, 1996. Gladys was a fulltime homemaker, raising and caring for her husband and family. She loved crossword puzzles and playing Smear. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Navarino. She is survived by one son, Keith L. Spoehr, Shiocton; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie (Val) Marciniak, Shawano; three grandchildren, Dean (Linda) Koeller, Shawano; Tammy (Frank) Gille, Muskego; and Vicky (David) Jung, Oak Creek. She is further survived by her seven great-grandchildren, Amanda, Holly, Christi, Shane, Scott, Tanya and Nicky; one great-great-grandchild, Samantha. Also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Ben (June) Thompson, Shiocton; one brother-in-law, Bob McQuillan; two brothers-in-law, Bryce (Ellen) Spoehr, Black Creek; and Raymond Henrickson, Navarino; also two sisters-in-law, Nanette (Derold) Bohren, Eau Claire; and Rachel Pues, Navarino; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kieth; one grandson, Jason Koeller; a great-grandson, Sean Koeller; son-in-law, John Koeller; three sisters, Ruth Thompson, Esther Larson and Margaret McQuillan; and her mother and father-in-law, Nola and Leland Spoehr. Friends may call at the Ascension Lutheran Church, Navarino on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, from 4 to 8 p.m. The visitation will continue on Friday morning after 9 a.m. until the time of service. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday at the church, with the Reverend Lisa Stafford officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home for their care.
