Gladys Olga (Stevenson) Payne was born in 1913 to George Walters Stevenson and Gladys Olga Richardson, and had a brother Leonard Skidmore Stevenson. She married Ronald George Payne, and had a child Steven Laurence Payne. Gladys Payne died at age 90 years old on December 14, 2004.

    Born in 1913 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Olga had a great personality, single minded, with a positive outlook on life. Her father was a pattern maker, Sadly her mother passed away in 1920, then her father left the children Olga & brother Skid to by looked after by other family members. Olga went to live with her grandmother in Sandiacre, Derbyshire where she grew up. Worked at Lace Web in the office were she met Ronald George Payne, they married in 1949. Olga was a member of the British Red Cross during WWII.
