Glenn Dennis Summers was my step father. I was the youngest of 5 girls in the family. What I remember is that he really liked going fishing. I remember that wooden reddish orange dingy/ boat that he liked taking fishing when he wasn't going to the jetty on the Coast. He watched Portland wrestling with me eating popcorn. I always fell asleep. We went for a lot of car rides, picked berries on the side of the road, and he liked Lipton Iced tea in his thermos for work. He had been in the service, I'm not really sure what branch. He had an old faded tattoo on his arm of a devil. It was so faded that it was green at the time in the early 1970's. Lord knows if he ever got it redone or not. I would really like to have gotten to know him while I was an adult. My mother and him divorced when I was about 9yrs old. I hope that someone out there would know more and add to His story. To some he may not have been much, but to me he was the only man who stud up and tried to raise a family that wasn't even his. He was the only Father that I really knew. Right or wrong, He was my Dad.
