    A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Reverend Mark Bettinger officiating. Burial will be in New Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Gallegos was a retired secretary for the Mesa County Courthouse. She was a resident of Grand Junction and Fruita for several years. She was born December 27, 1934, to Tito and Antonia Sandoval Trujillo in Youngsville, New Mexico. She spent her childhood and graduated from high school in Fruita. She attended Columbia Secretarial College in Odessa, Texas. She married Herman Gallegos in Chama, New Mexico. They divorced. Mrs. Gallegos was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She enjoyed her family and friends. Survivors include her father of Fruita, two sons, Russell and Michael, both of Grand Junction, two daughters, Carolyn Guillen and Sandra Gallegos, both of Grand Junction, two brothers, Tito "Joe" Jr. of Grand Junction and Johnny of Fruita; four sisters, Edumenia Barraza of Grand Junction, Lila Trujillo of Fruita, Manvelita Guiterrez of Odessa, Texas, and Carol Lobato of Sunnyside, Utah; and 13 grandchildren. A son, dean, a sister, Ida Serano, and a brother, Frank, are deceased. - The Daily Sentinel (Grand Junction, Colorado) Tuesday, December 5, 1995 on page 9.
