She had siblings Charles William Martin, Carrie Belle Martin, and Alice Irene Martin. She married Ralph Eugene Ludden, and had children Doris Elaine Ludden, Mary Kathleen Ludden, Alan John Ludden, Carolyn Juanita Ludden, and Rosemary Ann Ludden. Grace Ludden died at age 91 years old on October 23, 1988.

Don't know how to straighten this out. Ethel was born Gracie Ethel Martin. After many years of marriage she divorced Ralph.
Having never liked her first name she chose to drop it and use the initial M (for Martin) as her middle name. It became her legal name. She was NOT born a Ludden.
