He had siblings Cidon B King, Edna Mae (King) Johnson, Ira J King, Walter Cleborn King, Dolores Dee (King) Smothermon, and Dudley Darvin King. Grady King died at age 86 years old on March 12, 2009, and was buried at Ft. Sill National Cemetery Section 33 Site 171 Rt 1, Box 5224, in Elgin, Ok.

Grady King husband of Irena Mae (Rash) King.Son of John Henry Cidon & Catherine Louise King.Grady was born in Anson Texas. He came from a family of eight sisters & ten brothers.Grady joined the navy in 1942, and served in world war II. He fought on the battle front during world war II.His first assault beach party landed with the first wave, 2nd Marine Division, on the beaches of Saipan on June 15, 1944.His next assault landing was on Guam with the 77th Army Division. He then landed on the beaches of Leyte Philippines with the 92nd Army Division on October 23, 1944. Grady received the Admiral Nimitz award for gallantry in the battle of Saipan. Grady went to be with his Heavenly Father at age 86 yr's old on March 12, 2009. He is survived by his wife Irena,2 sons Kelly & Micheal, 3 daughters Sandra, Cheryle, Tobie; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, 3 brothers & 3 sisters. He joins his infant son Daniel in Heaven.
