  • Obituary

    BLUE HILL – Helen Louise Curtis, 94, passed away March 26, 2004, at the Blue Hill Hospital. She was born March 2, 1910, the daughter of Linwood Everett and Tillie (Marks) Leach. Helen was a member of the East Blue Hill Baptist Church, member of the East Blue Hill Grange No. 252, a member and past president of the East Blue Hill Village Improvement Society. She is survived by three sons, Stanley F. Curtis of Surry, Fred N. Curtis and wife, Marjorie, of Surry, Roland Harry Curtis and wife, Ruth, of East Blue Hill; one brother, Beryl Leach and wife, Martha, of Rockport; one sister, Caro M. McGraw of Penobscot; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse; two sons, Ronald and James; and a grandson, William Curtis. Friends who wish may make gifts in Helen’s memory to the East Blue Hill Baptist Church, Rte. 176, Blue Hill. Interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Healey Funeral Home, 100 South St., Blue Hill.
