There is a record of Helen Melville Smith, age 23, marrying Sidney Russell-Cooke , age 29, on January 18, 1922 in St Mark's, North Audley Street, London, Westminster, England. The license says that Helen's father was E.J. Smith (deceased), a Captain in the Royal Navy, and Sidney's father was William Russell-Cooke (deceased) who was a solicitor. On August 15, 1934, Helen received her certificate from the Airwork School of Flying - she was an Avro Club Cadet on a Genet 7 cyl.?
